§ 117-1. Residence within state required for appointed officer.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of the Village Law of the State of New York or any other general law, local law ordinance or special act, any appointed Village officer of the Village of Hewlett Harbor need not be a resident of the Village but must be a resident of the State of New York.
