 Chapter 121. Signs

  § 121-4. Permitted signs.

  • The following are permitted signs for a dwelling in the Village of Hewlett Harbor, all of which shall be nonilluminated and nonmoving:

    If offered for sale by the property owner: FOR SALE, followed by an optional telephone number if offered for sale by a real estate broker: FOR SALE BY BROKER, followed by the broker's telephone number
    1 professional sign indicating the name of the permitted profession and professional occupancy

    Not more than 2 security protection system signs indicating that the premises are protected by a security system

    1 garage sale sign as defined in § 69-1, to be displayed only on sale days specified in permit

    NOTE:
    No owner or real estate broker shall install or cause to be installed any real estate sign without first obtaining a permit from the Village Clerk and paying a permit fee of $35.
